Children’s Advocacy Center of Franklin County – This week M&T Bank was happy to present a check to the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Franklin County. Executive Director Rebecca Voss and Forensic Interviewer Jessica Crouse met with M&T Charitable Foundation’s team Sarah Burnett and Rita Burke to share their vision and organizational needs.
The organization supports our local youth in a time of dire need for those children. Serving over 250 new cases a year where children have experienced abuse and are in need of a caring, educated, and connected partner like the CAC, Becky and Jess. They work tirelessly with our local law enforcement, attorneys, parents, etc. to serve the children of our county while also making directed outreach to educate across the county school districts that they are a safe space.
The bank has partnered with the organization through it’s support from the Charitable Foundation, to volunteering at the organizations annual fund raiser (Aim for Advocacy), to support through involvement on the entities board.
We are thrilled to support this organization in the way that we can support the youth of our community when they need a safe space.
Occupational Services, Inc. – We’re thrilled to continue to partner with Occupational Services, Inc. as a supporter of their mission and vision in a variety of ways.
OSI has partnered with M&T Bank via our charitable foundation as mentioned thanks to our local leadership committee. Huge thanks to our M&T Bank Foundation team for joining and being so supportive of OSI. Thank you Sarah Burnett and Rita Burke.
Bank personnel have also volunteered annually to provide property maintenance and improvement projects using a day of each employees allotted 40 hours of volunteer time.
Finally, I’m lucky enough to support from a board level as the treasurer of the organization. I’m happy to coordinate a tour, like the one Michelle Lane led for us, or discussion to further introduce or educate anyone on the value that OSI brings to our community.
OSI is always looking for community partners in various ways including but not limited to the services the organization provides. Those include the print shop, value added production and assembly, community business employment, cleaning services, secure document destruction and beyond. Thank you Michelle, Joe Hudson, and Gabby Snider for taking us behind the doors to show us again how special OSI is.
