The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is inviting residents to participate in a statewide online survey to assess its winter services. The survey, open until April 28, aims to gather public opinions on road safety and service effectiveness during the past winter season.
PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll emphasized the importance of public feedback, stating, “After a particularly active winter, we are keen to understand public perceptions and improve our services accordingly. Our team’s dedication ensured safe and passable roads throughout the season, and now we look to enhance our operations based on citizen feedback.”
The anonymous survey consists of 16 questions covering various topics, including response times for safe and passable roadways, snow-removal priorities, and overall satisfaction with PennDOT’s winter services. It also seeks to understand how residents receive travel information and their usage of the state’s 511PA traveler information services.
Residents can access the survey online and provide valuable insights that will help PennDOT in planning and improving its winter weather responses. For real-time traffic updates and more information, Pennsylvanians can visit www.511PA.com or use the 511PA smartphone application available for both iPhone and Android devices.
