Chief Jason J. Wolfgang, along with a staff comprising one corporal, one detective, one patrolman first class, eight full-time patrol officers, and two civilian staff, operate from a new, state-of-the-art facility that opened in Spring 2023. This expansion is in response to the increasing needs of one of the state’s fastest-growing communities.
Candidates interested in applying must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and live within 50 miles of the department. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, passing physical and written exams, an oral board interview, and several other assessments including psychological, vision, and drug screenings. A thorough background and credit check are also mandatory.

The recruitment process begins with a Physical Fitness Exam scheduled for March 29, 2025, at 8:00 AM, followed by the Written Exam. The physical fitness test will include a one-minute sit-up test, a 300-meter run, a one-minute push-up test, and a 1.5-mile run.
Successful candidates will be offered a starting salary of $59,366.09, plus an excellent benefits package and retirement plan. Applications must be submitted with a $35.00 non-refundable testing fee by March 24, 2025, to secure a testing slot.
