WellSpan Health has recently repurposed a Ford F450 ambulance, formerly part of their fleet, by donating it to Eagle Fire Co #1 in Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania. This strategic contribution aims to enhance the water rescue operations and response times in and around York County.
Dr. Michael Seim, Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer at WellSpan Health, emphasized the significance of timely responses in emergencies. “When we say that every second counts, we truly mean it in all aspects of our operations. This donation to Mount Wolf’s water rescue team is a testament to our commitment to provide exceptional care, extending beyond our hospital walls to the very heart of the community,” he stated.
