Ana is currently playing a pivotal role in connecting residents to WellSpan’s Community Health Needs Survey. The survey aims to identify and address pressing community needs such as access to fresh food, housing, healthcare, and educational resources. Insights from the survey will inform action plans to improve living conditions in the region.
Ana operates as a secure and private resource, ensuring all interactions comply with HIPAA regulations. The AI assistant is instrumental in facilitating various health-related communications with patients, including reminders for health screenings, colonoscopy preparations, surgical pre-op instructions, and FIT testing—an at-home screening tool for colorectal cancer.
To accommodate diverse communities, Ana is equipped to communicate in multiple languages, ensuring broad accessibility. Participation in the Community Health Needs Assessment is crucial for shaping WellSpan’s initiatives. Community members are encouraged to submit their survey responses by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 21.
